Blog #1: Colon Street of Cebu City, Cebu, Philippines

Blog #1

Today, at around 3pm, I was in a jeepney vehicle to home from school. The vehicle came to a halt as the stop light flashed. I observe the city around me that never failed to beautify me - and it was breathtaking. Yes, the wind is polluted but the history of the road that this vehicle is riding on is amazing - Colon Street - the oldest and the shortest national road in the Philippines. Everything is beautiful in this part of city; malls, movie theatres, divisorias, fast food restaurants, 'pungko-pungko' eateries, finger foods carts, excellent universities, dedicated traffic enforcers, countless transportation vehicles to take you where you want to be, and the business industry.

This place is also packed with hotels and inns housing tourists from anywhere in the world to enjoy the city that literally never sleeps.

Cebu's Colon Street at night is the busiest street in the city and of the province.

The all-famous mall in the Colon Street, Colonnade Mall!
Here in this picture is the Metro Gaisano mall. Owned by the Gaisano Family - one of the most
prominent families in Cebu, Philippines.

Also, hands down to the photographer of this photo! Amazing!
